If you come to a fork on the road …

Yogi Berra was the greatest. How could anyone not listen to his utterances that became aphorisms such as “if you come to a fork on the road, take it.” Clearly Berra understood the body well because if a structure is not where the textbook teaches you to expect to find it, then you’re probably seeing an anatomical variation.  Whether student or clinician, you need to keep looking, seek and you shall find!!! (Yogi did win ten World Series championships in his career.) So, it is with the aortic bifurcation.

Question: At which indicate plane of the body does the aortic bifurcation project on the surface?
