The parietal peritoneum and transversalis fascia were removed so that the posterior rectus sheath is visible. Recall the mnemonic for Hesselbach triangle, RIP (Rectus sheath (medial), Inferior epigastric artery (lateral), Poupart's ligament (inguinal ligament, inferior)
