Answer to Elvis the Pelvis

Question: Can you point to the site of Elvis’  pain in the image?

Correct answer is C, the area of the ischial tuberosity on which we sit. Ischial bursitis is often caused by repetitive stress on an ischial bursa, causing it to become inflamed. This can happen when sitting for long periods of time or playing sports that require repetitive motion, like running or cycling. The pain often arises as a result of overloading of the hamstring muscles due to increased or excessive activity, as Elvis was likely to do in his very exciting performances. Ironically, it is also an injury of gamers who sit for long periods of time at their computers.
