Waiting for Godot at the Metro

While waiting for Godot, Estragon runs into his old friend Vladimir, and they both decide instead of continuing to wait to go for a beer, where they meet Sam. Sam, a general surgeon, relates how Godot will not be joining them today since Godot experienced significant abdominal pain and was taken to the hospital. There it was discovered that the pain resided approximately in the midline of Godot’s abdomen, a few inches below his umbilical region.
